What type of tutoring do you offer?

I offer tutoring for GCSE students in English Language and Literature, and A-Level English Language.

What are your qualifications and experience?

I am a qualified teacher with over thirty years' experience of teaching English. I have a degree in English Language and Literature, a PGCE and a Certificate in Counselling Skills. I have a DBS certificate.

How much will it cost?

Do I have to commit to a certain number of lessons?

Not at all. Some students may wish to have weekly lessons. Others might need a few intensive lessons, for example, before an examination. There is no requirement to commit to a certain number of lessons.

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes. Online lessons are possible, on Zoom. It is also possible to mix and match online and in person lessons.

My child does not attend school, can you help?

Yes, I can offer day time lessons. I have developed considerable experience tutoring students who do not attend school including those with SEND.

Do you offer group lessons?

Yes. This may be possible. Contact me to discuss details if you wish for pair or group lessons.

What is you cancellation policy?

One day's notice to cancel a lesson.
